RIP Mike Stokes

Sadly we have to inform you that Mike Stokes died at home in his sleep earlier this week. Mike was a long standing member of the Club having joined in 1971, and he was Commodore from 1987 to 1989. For many years he raced his Enterprise with his wife Pat, and later with Sally Gray. After occasional forays in the Kestrel and Sandhopper fleets, he sailed his cruiser Whinyard. His contribution to Club activities over many years is appreciated by all who knew him, and he will be sadly missed.
